Grace + Max | Engaged

I wish I could express in words the JOY that was flowing from these two at their engagement session. As you look through their portraits, pay attention to how they look at each other. Any time after they kissed, Grace would scrunch up her shoulders and wrinkle her nose. You could see how in love she was. I could hardly take it!

Grace and Max met in college and when they were both on the St Johns student council at Idaho State. They went to dinner with friends one night and Max made Grace a tiny paper crane out of a straw wrapper. They both went their separate ways after school. A few years later, Grace came to work at the same school I do, and as she was unpacking her classroom, she found the paper crane! She took a picture and texted Max to see if he remembered it. He couldn’t believe she had saved it all that time! They started talking more, and a year later, here we are! Doesn’t this sound like a story out of a Hallmark movie?!

We headed to downtown Salt Lake to take their pictures. These two have attended services together at the Cathedral of the Madeline in Salt Lake City so we wanted to capture that with them. They are so happy together and I’m obsessed with how in love they are!
