Brittany + Matt | Engaged

I am so excited to share Brittany and Matt’s engagement pictures! These two were so fun to work with and it has me counting down the weeks until we get to spend more time together at their wedding! I’ve been good friends with Brittany for a long time. We both used to work together at a youth summer camp and have stayed friends ever since. I am just getting to know Matt, but I can already tell he is absolutely perfect for Brittany.
Brittany and Matt met at work. They were good friends for a long time, and then started dating this year. Both of them knew right away that this was the real deal, and just a few weeks later, Brittany was texting me to set up pictures!

Matt proposed in Brittany’s backyard. She had been in Costa Rica for a week and when she got home from the airport, there was Matt waiting under an archway of flowers with his guitar and a ring. He sang to her and got down on one knee. Talk about dreamy!

We headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon to take Math and Brittany’s engagement portraits. I know Utah has so many pretty places, but this canyon is one of my absolute favorites. One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is all the beautiful places I get to see. I don’t think we could ask for a prettier location! There were so many beautiful trees, open fields, and tall grass. Basically a photographer’s dream. Enjoy looking at their cute faces!
